Meet Carmel Curlewis
Carmel Curlewis B App Sc Grad Dip Nutr & Diet Grad Cert BA APD
Carmel established ADVANTAGE NUTRITION (trading as Carmel Curlewis and Associates) in 1997 as a private nutrition and dietetic service.
Carmel is a committed and expert private Accredited Practising Dietitian with over thirty years of experience, working for public, private and not for profit organizations. She has worked in a range of settings including:
- health (local, area and state),
- aged care facilities,
- disability services (institutions, group homes, supported accommodation, community support and respite),
- mental health
- policy development and advocacy
- forensic and corrective services.
She is a leading advocate working as an independent representative, to increase the profile of dietitian services funded by the NDIS and fight for the rights of people with a disability.
Meet Jayne Curlewis
Jayne Curlewis B Med Sc Grad Dip Nutr M Nutr & Diet APD
Jayne Curlewis is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian passionate about working with people with a disability and delivering a high-quality service. Working exclusively in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) providing services for a range of disorders from Autism and Intellectual Disability to rare chromosomal genetic conditions.
Jayne has a clear focus on providing clients, parents, and carers with the tools and practices to improve their nutritional health and wellbeing. She has a specific interest in the field of paediatric disability and rural / regional dietetic services.
